We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Senior Consultant with 3-4 years of experience in accounting - and a strong desire to expand your area of expertise - to join our team in Bucharest. You will have excellent professional development opportunities in a challenging environment through involvement in exciting projects for leading companies in Romania.


  • Direct involvement in a wide range of audit and consulting engagements:
    • Litigation support, expert witness accounting
    • Internal audit
    • Financial due diligence
    • Fraud
    • Risk & compliance
    • Financial audit
    • Management consulting (organization design, process improvement, cost reduction)
  • Work at high professional standards with full ownership of allocated tasks.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients
  • Responsible for drafting project deliverables and discussing the conclusions with the client
  • Be ready for responsibilities and project roles that may vary significantly subject to the projects nature and complexity
  • During the first 12 months, will work directly with the firm's Managing Partner for a steep learning curve.

Candidate requirements

Technical skills

  • University degree in economics
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting (mandatory requirement)
  • Previous experience with a Big Four firm may be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Romanian accounting standards
  • Strong business English
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Overall business awareness and exposure to different industries
  • High performing in your current field of activity

  • Ability to work in a project driven, multi-tasking environment
  • Capacity to deal with different projects in parallel and to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, "can do" attitude

  • Business travel (less than 20% of time)
