Job Details

The Plant Controller is responsible for Finance & Accounting processes in the plant.


  • Effective Handling of Controlling function;
  • Prepare the statutory financial statements (interim mid -year and year end);
  • Represent the company in relation with the fiscal authorities, auditors and external consultants;
  • Approve tax return forms;
  • Communication with fiscal authorities, tax specialists, lawyers and auditors to ensure legal compliance, with minimum costs for the Company;
  • Inventory Valuation every month and Inventory Control;
  • Ensuring timely capitalization of fixed assets as per local GAAP as well as IFRS;
  • Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts;
  • With help of global controller: Monthly Reporting of Budget vs. Actual;
  • Monthly analysis and review of  Financials & Operational Data with Plant management and Business Unitt Controller;
  • IAnalyze costs and propose improvements;
  • Provide details of Capital Work in progress;
  • Adaptation of additional reports as per requirement of Group control.


  • Education: Master in Finance or Accounting
  • Has at least 3-5 year experience
  • Local GAAP
  • IFRS;
  • SAP and financial reporting systems
  • Basic costing and management accounting knowledge
  • Strong accounting background with clear basic knowledge
  • Good analytical ability
  • Practical approach with a clear view of the objective 
  • Ability to reason logically
  • Good communication – ability to explain issues clearly and in a concise manner
  • Open minded, mainly open to adjust to changing work environment
  • Software knowledge –MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Problem solving skills – Primarily proactive, timely and correct interpretation of accounting standards
  • Strong personality – able to implement and enforce internal control framework
