On behalf of our client, a leading company that provides solutions for online payment, we are recruiting a Project Management and Change Management Officer.

Global leader in seamless payment, our client provides smart, trusted and secure solutions to empower commerce across all channels: in-store, online and on mobile. Trusted partner of major financial institutions, service providers, global retailers and small merchants, our client has a global footprint to provide multi-local solutions.

The company's initiative is to set up a multi-functional shared service center in Bucharest to centralize the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Procurement support functions of the company's EMEA region.

Your tasks:

  • You will report directly to the company's Global Business Services Vice-President
  • Preparation of Steering Committee and Governance design and execution
  • Centralize qualitative and quantitative information on project performance for the preparation and production of weekly project reports for internal management purposes
  • Ensuring tasks accomplishment in time by various stakeholders ( Global Business Services; Controllers; HR; IT etc.) and Third Parties
  • Work closely with Global Business Services team to devise, develop and deliver appropriate and proportionate systems to evaluate key activities at project level
  • Ensure that information recorded in both electronic and hard copy meets with internal and external audit standards
  • Ensure detailed project, implementation and action plans are created for the duration of each project as appropriate
  • Ensure projects have requirements documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meets agreed project objectives 
  • Ensure monitoring of project progress is timely and accurate and enables Sponsors and stakeholders have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions
  • Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimize disruption to successful delivery
  • Deliver an effective and timely schedule of project communications liaising with the relevant sponsors and stakeholders
  • Devise, produce and implement new systems and processes to optimize more effective project management as required and within the framework of the Project Delivery Approach
  • Ensure standardized and relevant document templates are available from a central repository for both the PMO and business project team members
  • Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities to drive best practice
  • Liaise closely with Global Business Services team to ensure accurate & robust budget monitoring against project plan
  • Track and monitor benefits realization against planned targets

Your qualifications:

  • PMO experience of minimum 3 years, at least with experience in change management
  • Bachelor and Master degree, preferable in Finance/ Management
  • Recognized formal project management qualification (PMP or other) represents an advantage
  • Dynamic, approachable, accountable and available
  • Open-minded and ‘can-do’ attitude which encourages innovation, embraces change and displays resilience against adversity
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word); experience working with Project Management tools
  • English (fluent - spoken and written); French of other foreign languages will be a plus
  • Willing to travel and free to do so on request
  • Team management experience with the ability to manage and motive virtual or matrix project teams
  • Ability to juggle different priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure
  • Able to focus on a clear goal in all actions and decisions and openly articulate this to the project team
  • Participate fully as a team member in building an atmosphere of openness, honesty, respect, cooperation
