On behalf of our client, a global technology company with more than 10 000 employees, we are recruiting a Finance Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate preparation and reporting of the financial results (monthly, quarterly, annually);
  • Execute year-end closing activities, prepare annual financial statements, keep contact with the auditors, support the audit procedures;
  • Prepare annual budgets, reviewed cash flow, liquidity reports;
  • Manage bank relationships, bank accounts, signature limits, approve bank transfers;
  • Explain in management reports any variations to budgets and forecasts;
  • Become part of local management team, attend management meetings and participate in decision making;
  • Ensure support to corporate and regional finance teams for financial results and reports, effectively cooperate with local finance/accounting teams in other countries.
  • Coordinate and manage finance team’s work, participating in management meetings and in projects that will contribute to an increase profitability;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar position with international company;
  • Knowledge of Romanian and IFRS accounting and reporting standards;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel as user, experience in working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, NAV etc) and management reporting systems (TM1, Hyperion etc);
  • Big 4 experience is an advantage;
  • Fluent communication in English (written and verbal);
  • Attention to and affinity with details, organizer aptitude;
  • Independent, self-motivated, initiative personality;
  • Ability to manage stress, capability of multitasking;
  • Proactive, problem solving attitude, supporting approach, business minded person;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
