We are searching for a smart and enthusiastic Consultant with 2-3 years of experience in accounting or audit to join our team in Bucharest. You will have excellent professional development opportunities in a challenging environment through involvement in exciting projects for leading companies in Romania.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering internal audit engagements for our clients:
    • Internal audit outsourcing focused on critical business risks (operational, compliance, financial, fraud)
    • Set-up internal audit department (structure, methodology, training)
  • Development of internal audit services (client presentations, research, publications)
  • In addition, involvement in a wider range of audit and consulting engagements of the firm:
    • Risk & compliance
    • Financial due diligence
    • Financial audit
    • Process improvement and simplification
    • Litigation support
  • Develop expertise in a wide range of industries (manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, automotive, pharma, food & beverages, energy, agriculture, real estate, etc.)
  • Work at high professional standards with full ownership of allocated tasks.
  • Supervise, coach and develop junior team members
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients
  • Responsible for drafting project deliverables and discussing the conclusions with the client
  • Be ready for responsibilities and project roles that may vary significantly subject to the projects nature and complexity

Candidate requirements

Technical skills

  • University degree in economics
  • Previous experience with a Big Four firm is an advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience in consulting, accounting or financial audit (mandatory requirement)
  • Good knowledge of Romanian accounting standards
  • Strong business English
  • Mastering of Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Overall business awareness and exposure to different industries

  • Ability to work in a project driven, multi-tasking environment
  • Capacity to deal with different projects in parallel and to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive "can do" attitude
  • Speed, agility and flexibility
  • Active listening and ability to understand clients' needs
  • Business travel availability (estimated 20% of time)
