As part of the Finance Operations team, the financial analyst will offer budget analysis and financial reporting on different projects, having the following responsibilities:
Budget tracking and monthly project reporting
Develop cost centers, cost categories and product cost accounting and allocate intercompany services;
Analysis of accounting bookings and identification of actual budget consumption, including commenting on the respective deviations and results;
Preparing cost center reports and monthly project reports (WBS) based on SAP CAP;
Providing budget reports on a monthly basis (Actuals versus Plan, Earned Value Analysis per project) for the management, including comments and analysis;
Providing standardized project reporting focused on business case figures, milestones, deliverables and content of all projects within AMOS;
Support functional reporting requirements and drive improvements in automating reporting and analysis;
Support monthly KPIs reviews by preparing presentations and ad-hoc analysis.
Finance Operations & Business Partner Support
Quality control of figures, project phases, official rates used for labor efforts, pricing ;
Comparison of planning resources, budget and project duration, according to Finance checklist;
Verification of types of costs, charging method, materials used for billing cycle or other financial KPIs;
Offering support to business partners or central controlling teams located in Germany regarding financial controlling topics;
Compensate contractual budget from one statistical internal order to another (external spend process monitoring);
Staff requisition verification for each department (comparison of headcount between plan and actual);
Analysis and upload of travel bookings file for each cost center/project and corrections of accounts, if necessary.
University degree in Finance/Business Administration or comparable;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
Interested in IT-Tools and systems;
Knowledge of MS-Office (esp. Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
SAP knowledge (ideally CAP, BAP);
years previous experience in Finance or Business Administration;
Previous experience in a corporate environment would be a plus.
