On behalf of our client, a leading multinational stock quoted Group active in the manufacturing industry, we are looking for a Finance Manager located in Iasi.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the accounting records are maintained completely and timely;
  • Ensure the SAP implementation for the local operations (SAP legal reports, double ledger maintenance in SAP etc);
  • Analyzing the accounts - verifying the balances situation on classes of accounts;
  • Keeping the analytical accounting books;
  • Prepare the annual financial statements under IFRS and prepare the accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) which are reviewed by the local auditors;
  • Prepare the monthly tax and payroll returns;
  • Participate in VAT Reimbursement Controls and audits;
  • Keep updated with changes in tax, RAS and legislation (including VAT, CIT, WHT, Intrastate, Custom Duties, etc);
  • Ensure the booking of all journal entries and accounting documents (depreciation, prepayments, revaluations);
  • Ensure the preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports;
  • Review and verify the accuracy of payroll records. Responsible for the payroll processing and other HR related topics;
  • Optimize internal procedures and processes;
  • Ensure that the reporting deadlines are met;
  • Monthly reporting to the Controlling department and Finance Manager at company headquarter.

Requirements:

  • Experience with International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS) and Local Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS);
  • Minimum 4 years experience in Accounting - preferably in a multinational manufacturing company;
  • University degree in Economics;
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Tax, HR related topics;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in operating with ERP (SAP);
  • Good understanding of managerial accounting, Romanian GAAP and IFRS;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel);
  • Very good English skills;
  • Initiative, able to work independently and effectively in a changing environment;
  • Willing to learn new things and to invest time and effort in the  professional development;
  • Proven experience in ability to organize and prioritize tasks and activities;
  • Ability in finding solutions for emergency situations;
  • Capacity to meet assigned deadlines;
  • Good team player;
  • Enthusiastic, positive and flexible.
